1. Stack Books

Stack coffee table books on a tray to play with height. Adding in fresh flowers are a classic styling choice and look especially pretty displayed in a decorative vase.  

 

2. Add a Tray

A tray is essential if you plan to rest drinks or a vase of flowers on the ottoman. Stack books or magazines and a colorful bouquet to add texture and height to the display.

 

3. Use the Table

A pair of ottomans in a lively print not only bring color and texture to a room but they also serve as extra seating when you have a house full of guests. Keep them tucked away and out of foot traffic by storing them under a glass-top coffee table.

 

4. Create a Bar Station

Another great coffee table or ottoman decor idea, is to make a low-profile bar station with glasses, whiskey, and a classic decanter. Just add ice, and you’re ready for guests or a nightcap – you won’t even have to leave the couch!

 

5. Play with Shapes

6. Incorporate Color

7. Mix Textures

Another great way to add decorative elements to your coffee table and ottomans is to add textures, such as a chenille throw blanket over top a leather tufted ottoman.
