Pat S. – Living Room Update
After living in her current home for 23 years, Pat decided it was time to update and redecorate. She contacted Home Interior Warehouse and worked with Jackie to turn her house into her dream home. Pat has been very pleased with the results and loves how her place now reflects her style better than before.
Q. Is this your first experience with an interior designer or have you worked with one before?
A. Yes, this is my first experience with a designer.
Q. What were the main reasons you decided to hire Home Interior Warehouse to do your interior design? How has having an interior designer affected your design hopes and dreams?
A. I decided to work with a designer on my home after visiting the Home Interior Warehouse store. As you know the store is beautiful and the employees are very helpful. Also, I wanted some fresh ideas for my home.
Q. How would you describe the style of your home? Contemporary/Modern? Rustic? Classic? Something else? Did you know this was your style before or did the interior designer help you discover that?
A. My style would be contemporary and yes, I knew this before I hired a designer. Jackie gave me fresh ideas and helped with putting things together. I loved her help and would use her again and again.
Q. What was your favorite part of having a HIW interior designer working in your home? How would you describe the way the interior designer listened and interpreted your design hopes and dreams?
A. My favorite part of using a Home Interior Warehouse designer was how she came into my home, looked at things I had and then met me in her store where everything is beautiful and showed me things that would work. She gave me ideas that I wouldn’t have put together on my own. After working with Jackie, I have a beautiful home.
Q. Do you have a favorite piece or pieces that were added to your home? Why is it / are they your favorite?
A. My favorite piece is a type of wing back chair, I love how it looks, the fabric and how I feel when I’m sitting in it, like I’m “the queen” of this home. It no longer feels like just a house, this is me.
