Project Description
This Commerce Township project was a new build that we helped this client with every step of the project, from finishes selection to furniture and artwork purchasing, to the layout. This project was a lot of work but Jackie, HIW owner had a lot of fun. She and the client put a lot of time into planning out the details and it really shows…
- The staircase off the kitchen was encased in white shiplap that continue up to the ceiling in the kitchen and dining room. This helps draw your eye upward and creates continuity between the spaces.
- Since there was a long corridor upstairs Jackie advised creating paneling to create some dimension.
- A little bookcase was built under the stairs to help utilize the space better.
- Instead of using one coffee table, Jackie grouped 3 ottomans of different colors/patterns.
