Forget basic, boring tables, the style for this year is all about getting attention with contrast, texture and bold features.

Contrast

One of the biggest trends when it comes to dining room tables this year is contrast, whether in color, style or seating options. Mixing light and dark hues creates visual interest in your dining room. The Overstock article states that, “Espresso brown wood tables and cream upholstered chairs go together  beautifully.” Another way to get contrast is by mixing styles like modern and rustic materials, such as a farmhouse-style table and metal chairs. You can also mix and match different chairs or even chairs and benches for added interest.
