Trying to Sell a Home?

Well we all know how difficult it can be with too many homes and not enough buyers. But thankfully, speaking from experience, it’s not impossible to sell a home in the current market.

I was lucky enough to sell my Dad’s condo recently. His unit was the only non-forclosure sale all year!

So what was the recipe for success?

We did our work upfront to make our little condo the most appealing and irresistible it could be. We did things like fresh paint and new hardware on the kitchen cabinets.

Next, we set the stage with furnishings for the living room, dining room and kitchen in fun, contemporary styling. We chose chocolate brown and chartreuse green.

I have to say the condo showed like a model. While we did spend some money to make the improvements, our investment paid off in a sale!

I knew in my heart it was what we needed to do to stand out from the very saturated market. So you know all those HGTV shows such as “Designed to Sell” really do work!
